[이화여자대학교 아시아 여성학 센터] 국제 학술 대회 (~7/7)
We are pleased to invite you to register as a general attendee for the 2026 International Conference, “B/ordering the Global: Transnational Feminist Critiques from Asia,” which will be held in a hybrid format (in-person & online) from July 9 to July 11, 2026.
This large-scale international conference—hosted by the Asian Center for Women’s Studies (ACWS), a leading hub for women’s studies and feminist scholarship in Korea and across Asia—brings together approximately 1,000 participants from 33 countries and 247 institutions, featuring 117 panels in a hybrid format. This conference examines how borders operate not only as territorial lines, but also as “ordering” practices that shape mobility, citizenship, labor, care, reproduction, health, ecological futures, and technological governance. Grounded in Asian contexts, the conference advances timely transnational feminist dialogue on how contemporary forms of bordering are lived, contested, and reimagined across everyday life.
General Registration Period: June 15 – July 7, 2026 (KST)
