Scholarships for Incoming International Students

Applying for scholarship
- Documents to be submitted : Office of Admissions website (http://admission.ewha.ac.kr)→ International Students → Download scholarship application form from application form menu
- Submission Period : Same as application period September 14 (Mon), 2015 at 13:00 ~ October 8 (Thu), 2015 at 17:00
- Where to submit : Submit the application form with other required documents to the Office of Admissions after registering online
Selection Method
- Recipients will be selected through a comprehensive evaluation of their abilities and potential as a global female leader, based on submitted documents.
Scholarship Notification
- The scholarship result will be notified individually via personal e-mail after the admission announcement.
Notice
- The Ewha International Students Steering Committee may reduce or revoke the scholarship award upon review, if the recipient fails to fulfill eligibility requirements for reasons such as dissatisfaction of GPA requirement or inability to continue attendance at the university or conduct unbecoming of a university student.
- The recipients of the ‘scholarship for incoming international students’ must possess a Medical Insurance for the incoming semester in order to be qualified to receive the scholarship.
Scholarships for Registered International Students

Undergraduate registered students who have foreign nationality, earned 15 credit hours without failure in previous semester, and whose GPA is over 3.00 (out of 4.30) Among the students satisfying the qualifications above, students who have higher GPA have priority to be selected. If the students take Korean courses, they may be eligible for the scholarship with only 12 credit hours earned. The university limits scholarship beneficiaries to those with TOPIK score of Level 4 or above. (Exception: Students majoring in International Studies ) |

Students should work for foreign alumni association or work as a volunteer for the Office of International Affairs. The university limit scholarship beneficiaries to those with TOPIK score of Level 4 or above. (Exception: Students majoring in International Studies ) |

The information concerning the scholarships for registered international students may change.
Students can get both IES scholarship and other scholarships as long as the total amount is within the amount of the tuition fee.
Students must be a Medical Insurance holder of the previous and the coming semester in order to apply for scholarships for registered international students.
The university will administer scholarships in accordance to Scholarship Regulation of the University.
