Ewha Academy for Advanced Studies (EAAS) is a distinguished academic institute established by Ewha Womans University in February 2007 with the aim of becoming a global hub for research and education. In an era when globalization has become a defining force across all areas of society, traditional boundaries between disciplines and national borders in academia are increasingly blurred. Recognizing this shift, Ewha Womans University founded the EAAS to invite leading scholars, researchers, and intellectuals from around the world to share knowledge, collaborate on groundbreaking research, and engage with the academic community in Korea.

EAAS serves as a center for advanced interdisciplinary research and scholarly exchange. Its mission is to build a robust global academic network while fostering convergence and integration across diverse fields of study.
