Summary
Professor In Young Han earned her Ph.D. at Case Western Reserve University and teaches Social Work at Ewha Womans University. She held clinical positions in the United States before assuming her academic post in Korea.
Her research has focused on child abuse, interpersonal violence, health and mental health. She has also developed human rights programs for North Korean defectors. Professor Han has published and presented nationally and internationally and will serve as the International Program Committee Chair for the 2016 Global Conference.
She has served numerous government and non-profit organizations in Korea and abroad and helped found
the Social Work Master's Program at Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
