1. 전환 신청 대상

: 논문등록 대상자* 중 2025학년도 제1학기에 논문등록이 아닌 연구등록을 하고자 하는 학생

*석사과정: 4학기 이상 이수하고 종합시험 통과한 수료생, 박사과정: 4학기 이상 이수한 수료생

※ 논문등록: 수료 후 논문세미나를 수강하면서논문지도 및/또는 논문심사를 받기 위해 하는 등록

※ 연구등록: 수료 후 논문세미나를 수강하지 아니하고외국어시험 또는 종합시험에 응시하거나 교내제반연구시설을 이용하기 위해 하는 등록 (학위청구논문제출 자격 취득 여부와는 관계없음)

2. 신청기간

2025년 2월 3일(월) 09:00 - 2월 6일(목) 17:00

3. 신청방법

이화포탈정보시스템 → 유레카통합행정 → 마이유레카 → 학사행정 → 등록금 → 연구등록전환신청

(연구등록 전환신청 기간 내에는 연구등록 전환 신청 및 취소 모두 가능함. 이후 전환 신청 및 취소 불가.)

4. 유의사항

가. 연구등록 전환 시 등록금 고지서 출력 및 납부는 본등록 기간이 아닌 추가등록 기간*에 해야 함.

* 2025-1학기 추가등록 기간: 2025. 3. 6.(목) ~ 3. 7.(금) (고지서 출력 3/6(목) 오전 7시부터 가능)

나. 연구등록 전환 시 해당 학기에는 논문지도 및/또는 논문심사를 받을 수 없으며 해당 학기 졸업이 불가함

다. 논문지도 또는 논문심사를 받으려는 학생은반드시논문등록을 하여야 함

라. 종합시험에 통과하지 못한 석사학위과정 수료생은 별도의 전환신청 절차 없이 연구등록금고지서 조회 및 출력 기간에 연구등록금 고지서를 출력하여은행에 등록금 납부하면 됨

마. 종합시험에 통과한 석사학위과정 수료생 및 박사학위과정 수료생(종합시험 통과여부와 관계없음) 중 논문등록을 하려는 학생은 별도의 전환신청 절차 없이 논문등록금고지서 조회 및 출력 기간에 논문등록금 고지서를 출력하여 은행에 등록금 납부함

1. Eligibility

: Students eligible for thesis-based registration* who wish to convert to research-based registration for the Spring 2025 semester

* Masters: having completed minimum 4 semesters and have passed the comprehensive exam, Doctoral: having completed minimum 4 semesters

※ Thesis-based Registration: Registration required to take ‘Thesis Seminar/Dissertation Research’ course for thesis/dissertation supervision and/or thesis/dissertation screening after coursework completion

※ Research-based Registration: Registration required to apply for the comprehensive exam or to submit the Foreign Language Exam score, or use university research facilities after coursework completion (Regardless of eligibility to submit a dissertation for degree conferment)

2. Application Period: Monday, February 3, 9:00 ~ Thursday, February 6, 17:00, 2025

3. Application Procedure: Ewha Portal→ EUREKA → My EUREKA → Academic Affairs → Registration → Request to change to research registration (Application for Research Course Registration Transfer)

* During this application period, both application and cancellation for conversion to research-based registration will be allowed. After this period, neither application nor cancellation of conversion will be accepted.

4. Important Notes 

1) Students applying to convert to course-based registration must print their tuition bill and make the payment during the additional registration period*, not the regular period.

* Spring 2025 additional registration period: Thursday, March 6 ~ Friday, March 7, 2025 (tuition bill available for print from 7 am, March 6)

2) Students will not be able to receive thesis/dissertation guidance and/or evaluation during the semester having converted to research-based registration. Graduation upon completion of the research-based semester will also not be allowed.

3) Students who wish to receive thesis guidance and/or thesis evaluation in this semester MUST register as Thesis-based. 

4) Master's & Combined program students who have not passed the comprehensive exam can print out the research registration tuition bill during the designated period and pay the fee at the bank without a separate application process. 

5) Master’s & Combined program students who completed the coursework and passed comprehensive exam / Doctoral students who completed the coursework (regardless of comprehensive exam result) who wish to register as thesis-based can print the thesis-registration tuition bill during the thesis-based tuition payment period and pay the fee without a separate application process.
