    International applicants with foreign citizenship (including Korean nationals residing abroad) must submit documents validating language proficiency. TOPIK certificate of level 4 or above is required, and the score must be valid on the application deadline. Please refer to the admissions guideline for a detailed list of required documents.

    Entrance exam takes place in October or November every year. You can find more details in the admissions guideline.

    A total of 118 applicants for the Master’s degree programs and 7 applicants for the Doctoral degree programs are admitted. There is no quota established for each language concentration. There are no additional admissions for international applicants.  Please refer to the admissions guideline for more details.

    Applicants for interpretation programs take oral exams, written exmas and a short interview (Korean ↔ B language). Applicants for translation programs take translation exams (Korean ↔ B language).

    Applicants must submit Certificate of Bachelor’s Degree AND official transcript for all semesters with Korean translation notarized in Korea. When applicants holding degrees from schools overseas submit a copy of their diploma or certificate of graduation, they are required to bring the original diploma or certifiacte of degree (with notarized Korean or English translation) with them to present to the Office of Admission for authenticity check.

    Top 25% of newly admitted students are awarded with scholarships (half of the tuition plus admissions fee).
