Master's Degree Program
TJSOL
Introduction
The two-year TJSOL Master’s Degree Program was established in 2020 for both pre-and in-service teachers of Japanese as a foreign language. Classes meet in the evenings and are conducted entirely in Janpanese.
Educational Objectives
- To cultivate the ability to develop curricula and practical teaching skills in a variety of educational environments
- To strengthen creative thinking and practical skills to develop courses and materials for classroom practice
- To promote reflective practices as a Japanese teacher who can improve the quality of teaching and learning
- To obtain expertise and global awareness for the field of Japanese language education (Korea and abroad)
Requirements for the MA Degree
- MA TJSOL students are required to enroll full-time for 4 semesters and complete 36 credits of coursework. For the required portfolio projects, students will demonstrate the ability to design and pratice, assessment of Japenese course..
