2010 International Summer College, Session I

From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I knew I was going to enjoy the summer program at Ewha Woman’s University. The campus not only looked magnificent, but it had the air of a student friendly institution.

I was excited to meet new people and at the same time looking forward to classes. I was very interested in how I would be taught and how the teaching would affect my studies.

Although I was not taking classes for credit, I knew they would be worthwhile. When classes started, I was clearly right that I would enjoy the classes. The professors were very knowledgeable and taught well. But at the same time, they were very kind and fun-loving. They engaged the class with fascinating topics and turned classes that people would normally be bored with into vivacious periods of learning.

The field trips were also an interesting part of the program. Being able to experience parts of Korea with classmates and new friends was an enjoyable experience.

At Ewha, I met very friendly and fun people and enjoyed my time with these new friends after classes. The small restaurants had delicious food and it was interesting to pass by the shops around the neighborhood (since I’m a guy, I have no interest in buying women’s clothing).
